Nintendo Wii

What is Nintendo Wii?

Heard about the Nintendo Wii?  I bet you are familiar with it, with this unique video game console rising in popularity since it was first released in the USA, November 19, 2006.

The Nintendo Wii was created and developed by Nintendo Company, Limited, a multi-national corporation which first started in Japan as a producer of hanafuda cards and soon emerged as a video game company.  The Wii is also known by its code name, the "Revolution" and is considered throughout the video gaming industry as the comeback of Nintendo’s GameCube, which happens to be the fourth known video game console developed and designed as part of the company’s sixth generation.

Being a video game console, the Nintendo Wii takes pride in its features that are to a small extent common to video games.  Nevertheless, unlike the other games suitable on the market, the Wii has characteristics that are much more further along in progress and user-friendly.  For example, it includes a controller that looks like a normal remote control.  It has the Wii remote which can be used as a pointing tool that can be held by hand.  It is very easy to carry and you don't need too much strength on your hands and fingers.  You can face it towards the video game monitor and expect it to recognize traceable motions and even turning in three-D.

There is plenty to talk about the Nintendo Wii.  Another example, the Nintendo Wii, to an important degree, highlights its WiiConnect24, which is also a strong feature that allows the player to receive updates, leave updates, or messages through the Internet without even using up even just a small amount of electrical power.  With this in mind, a player of the video game can leave messages to another player without being present.

With having all those powerful and excellent features, the Nintendo Wii is considered by most video gamers as the same counterpart of Sony’s PlayStation 3.  It is also considered as an ideal replacement for the Microsoft’s Xbox 360.

Today, the Nintendo Wii is extremely available in the market anywhere in the world!  It is shipped not only in Japan, but also in many parts of the world like Asia, Europe, Australia, and the U.S.  Now followed by several recent reports, the product was shipped by a huge number to which the company released about 6 million console units and closely in about 17 million software units.  Remember, that these video game console units are shipped and offered at a very good price of about US$50, comparing to the other games which are priced around US$60.  This price is also available in nearly all retail stores around the world.
